In 2026, Szolnok once again welcomes visitors with a wide range of cultural, gastronomic, and leisure programs. Below you will find the most important events of the year.

đŸ€˜ March 21 – Rammstein & Slipknot Tribute Night
Heavy tribute concert at the Zeusz Greek God Club.

✈ From mid-April – Season Opening Events
New season programs at the RepTĂĄr Szolnok Aviation Museum.

🎒 April 24–25 – 27th Szolnok Travel and Leisure Exhibition
Tourism fair and programs at the Aba-NovĂĄk AgĂłra Cultural Center.

đŸ„ž May 29–31 – 10th Szolnok Pancake Festival
Family and gastronomic weekend in Tiszaliget.

🩟 Tiszavirág Festival (June)
An artistic and gastronomic celebration organized around the spectacular mayfly blooming of the Tisza River. Unique atmosphere, local wines, and concerts along the riverside.

đŸČ Szolnok Goulash Festival (September)
One of Hungary’s largest cooking competitions, where steaming cauldrons are accompanied by Hungarian folk culture and traditions.

â›č FIBA 3×3 World Tour Szolnok
A world-class street basketball show in the heart of the city, with pulsating rhythms and spectacular slam dunks.

 

☀ Summer and Autumn Festivals

🩟 Mid-June – Tiszavirág Festival
One of the most spectacular events in the city, held along the Tisza River riverside and on the TiszavirĂĄg Bridge.
(The exact date depends on the blooming of the mayflies.)

â›č Late July – Early August 2026 – FIBA 3×3 World Tour Szolnok
Tiszai HajĂłsok Square transforms into a professional outdoor basketball arena for several days.
The event usually hosts more than 20 international teams and includes music and entertainment programs. The FIBA 3×3 Nations League U23 and U21 rounds are also expected to take place here.

🇭đŸ‡ș August 20 – St. Stephen’s Day
Hungary’s national celebration with the Festival of New Bread and evening fireworks above the Tisza River.
From the terraces of our hotel you can enjoy the fireworks from a unique and comfortable viewpoint.

đŸČ September 11–12 – Szolnok Goulash Festival
Traditional cooking competition and concerts in Tiszaliget.

🎬 October 13–18 – Alexandre Trauner ART/Film Festival
International art and film festival celebrating the legacy of Alexandre Trauner.
